Modern designs and finishes are constantly evolving. Desirable low maintenance surface finishes like Polished Concrete, Terrazzo, Porcelain Tile, Resilient and Epoxy are in demand.
Each surface finish delivers unique protection challenges which need to be identified and met at the specification stage. Too often we see comprehensive specifications that explain in minute detail the type of finish, the installation procedure to be followed and at the very end is a one sentence note.
Skudo’s liquid products, such as Concrete Base Coat, Glass Advanced, and Skudo CURE, are water-based. If these coatings are exposed to freezing temperatures either in transit or in storage, irreversible damage can occur rendering the product unusable.

Texas is now dealing with a surge in cases in recent weeks, which we are closely monitoring. Skudo HT Commercial System recently protected 180,000 square feet of concrete at Manhattan Construction’s United Airlines Hangar project at the Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas. The surface of the new maintenance facility was prepared with Euclid Sureflex Light Reflective Hardener and Diamond Clear Cure and Seal.
