The Skudo Commercial System has test-proven protection against mold, fungus, and bacteria that can cause infections and lead to the deterioration of surfaces. This makes it the ideal surface protection for hospitals and health care facilities during construction or renovation.
THE “ZONE OF INHIBITION” TEST
A Zone of Inhibition Test is used to measure the ability of antimicrobial solids and textiles to inhibit fungal and bacterial growth. If the antibiotic properties stop or kill the bacteria/fungus, there will be an area around the test sample where no microbial growth will be visable. This is called a zone of inhibition.
Uncontrolled growth of bacteria and fungus
LEADING SKUDO COMPETITOR:
No Zone of Inhibition present
SKUDO COMMERCIAL SYSTEM:
A clear Zone of Inhibition is visible around test samples. The Skudo Anti-Fungal Protection in the HT Commercial Mat and Concrete Base Coat successfully repelled against bacteria, mold, fungus, and yeasts that may cause infection and deterioration of surfaces.
