Beck Group used a powerful combination of SkudoBoard (Standard), Skudo HT Commercial System, Skudo Tack-Mat (HT) and Skudo Counter-Mat while building the massive new Dickies Arena in Ft. Worth, TX.

Skudo HT Commercial System and SkudoBoard protected concrete flooring and terrazzo corridors from heavy equipment, machinery, building materials, and construction site traffic on the new building site. Counter-Mat was used to keep countertops clean from dust and debris and was also used to protect stainless steel elevator doors. HT Tack-Mat was used on the commercial restroom flooring, keeping splatter and stains from damaging the surface.

Completed in 2019, the 560,000 sq. ft. Dickies Arena is located in Fort Worth’s Cultural District within the Will Roger’s Memorial Center campus. The Arena is home to the famous annual Ft. Worth Stock Show & Rodeo and hosts hockey, family shows, NCAA basketball tournaments, and concerts. The Dickies Arena’s facades incorporate Southwest Art Deco elements, which relate the building to the 1930s-era buildings on the Will Roger’s Memorial campus. Its flexible, three-level seating area can accommodate 9,000-14,000 attendees, depending on the type of event.
