As part of Watts Webcor Obayashi joint venture, Webcor Builders completed a $158 Million Guam Naval Hospital Replacement Project for The NAVFAC Pacific in 2014. The project met the LEED Silver certification standard. The new 300,000 s.f. hospital has 42 beds, 4 operating rooms, 2 C-section rooms, and MRI and CT scanning suites. It’s opening coincided with the relocation of 8,000 Marines and their family members from Okinawa, Japan.
Skudo’s Commercial System, MT (Medium Traffic) grade, was laid on a third of the hospital’s Terrazzo floor, protecting it not only from damage, dirt
and debris, but also mold and bacteria.
